PERIOD. and the Alliance for Period Supplies are proud to bring you the 2023 Period Action Day Roll Call! Special thank you to the Alliance for Period Supplies' Allied Partners, PERIOD. partners, staff, youth advisory members, interns, and volunteers for your participation!
STATE OF THE PERIOD STUDY 2023
PERIOD. and Thinx are excited to share the release of the 2023 State of the Period Study - the only publicly available study tracking the impact of period poverty among U.S. teenage students.
The third installment of this survey found that almost a quarter (23%) of teens still struggle to afford period products, unchanged from 2021. However, students report a 7% increase in accessing period products at school, and a decrease in period stigma.
