Period Action Day is the one day a year the entire movement pulls together
to donate 1 million period products before midnight.
Every second Saturday of October is Period Action Day (PAD). The goal is simple and enormous: one million period products, donated in a single day. People everywhere are hosting fundraisers, advocacy rallies, educational panels, and packing parties, and every event, every dollar, every box packed counts toward the million.

Period poverty is the limited or inadequate access to menstrual products or menstrual health education as a result of financial constraints or negative socio-cultural stigmas associated with menstruation.
In the United States, 1 in 4 students struggle to afford period products. -
PERIOD. is a global youth-fueled nonprofit that strives to eradicate period poverty and stigma through service, education, and advocacy. Through the distribution of menstrual products, promotion of youth leadership, and championing of menstrual equity in policy, PERIOD. aims to center those disproportionately affected by period poverty and support local efforts for menstrual equity.
